Picture
Just returned from the sun in Sardinia to the summer solstice which has brought warmth, but also more rain to the UK.
The image is the view from the deck where morning yoga took place at Porto Cervo. Have a look at www.sardiniayoga.com if you fancy a yoga holiday with plenty of time to enjoy the pool and the sea.

One of the many amazing things about yoga is how it adapts to all needs. With one arm out of action, the rest of the body responds and adapts and finds ways to adjust poses to protect the damaged area but keep the rest stretched and strong.
Of course, those more permanently damaged face a daily struggle to regain mobility from life changing injuries, but I would encourage anyone who has the desire to consider yoga as part of their onward journey.

A lovely weekend and great classes on Saturday. Will be teaching classes as usual this week, but with a little personal challenge. Broke my wrist on Sunday and have just had it plastered at York hospital.
A&E really busy - I thought I would wait until Tuesday morning as it would be quieter but apparently since stopping GP out of hours it is always like this..
Will now see if I can improve my verbal yoga skills for class and work on the 95% of the body that still functions!
